Thru-Hiking Fundamentals

Have you or anyone you know ever considered thru-hiking? Join us for a discussion on the fundamentals of thru-hiking!  This first event in our 2021 Virtual Ruck series will focus on foundational topics aimed at those new to long distance hiking, but hikers of all experience can pick up some new tips.

This Zoom event will be held with breakout-style sessions where attendees will have the opportunity to participate in Q&A with the hosts.  During the live event, each participant will get to attend two topics of their choosing from the featured offerings (see below).  However, all discussions will be recorded and available for viewing on our website after the event, so you won't have to miss anything.

The event is scheduled to take about two hours in total. We recommend using a computer or tablet instead of a phone to be able to see presentations more clearly.

Tickets are $5 for ALDHA-West members and $10 for non-members.
