Since then numerous other scenic and historic trails have been added, these include the Continental Divide Trail, Oregon National Historic Trail, Lewis & Clark Historic Trail, Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail, in 1977. Currently, there are 20 trails listed in the National Scenic Trails Act.
