Online Journals - Jeffrey "Weird" Grinnell started
the AT in '95 doing the Southern half. In '96 he finished by hiking
South to complete the trail.
Online Resources - PCT Planning Program -Craig Giffen has done
and excellent job creating a calculator to assist in planning
a hike on the PCT. Enter dates, hours hiked per day, speed, etc.
and it will calculate the distances including elevation gains.
